Davitt Walsh Pulls 4-month-old From Sinking Car

It is amazing how in the blink of an eye a situation can go from "everyday" to "life-or-death." And there is NO instruction book! When that happened in front of Mr. Walsh, he didn't hesitate. He stripped down and jumped into frigid waters attempting to help a family get clear of their sinking car. He was able to come away with only one, but God bless him, he did all he could.

With the crowd repeatedly warning him to get clear of the car for his own safety, this guy could not bring himself to abandon the woman inside. He kept at his efforts until they succeeded, even as the flames spread. "I wasn't prepared to just leave her there." Wow!

The article at the link below is about something that happened over a month ago, but it is no less inspiring. A 7-year-old girl sustained major burns pulling her younger siblings from a burning home.
