This happened over a year ago, but it is still worth sharing. The folks at the Carnegie organization have been awarding medals (and money!) for a hundred years to people who do just the kind of thing that we cover in this blog. Bystanders team up to lift a burning vehicle off a motorcyclist. (Picture Courtesy WDBO-TV) There are people everywhere who refuse to stand by and let another person face death or injury alone, even though it is not their job to help. This blog honors their courage.
